Chicken Jerusalem

40 ounces boneless chicken breasts, cut into serving pieces
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 pound mushrooms, cut into pieces
6 ounces artichoke hearts, marinated
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup sherry

Heat oil in frying pan. Dredge chicken pieces in flour and brown in oil. Place in casserole with mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Stir garlic and spices with tomatoes; pour over chicken. Bake at 350 F. for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until tender, adding sherry during last few minutes of cooking time.
