Chef's Dressing

2 3/4 ounces tomato juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
freshly ground black pepper, (optional)
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon light soy sauce

Place all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well to blend. Keep covered and refrigerate.
