Producing Opportunities
The opportunities and ideas I present to you on this page are those in which
you will need LITTLE or NO CAPITAL INVESTMENT to get started. To get started
you will need a strong work ethic. You must be committed to making yourself success.
No one else is going to do it but you yourself. From time to time you will receive
help from others and at other times you will go it solely alone. So be prepared.

One of
the first income producing opportunities for you exists right here at this website.
The opportunity that I speak of is that of a Locator. A Locator locates people to
whom the government owes monies to. It could be Federal, State or Local government
which owes the money. The monies owed by the government could be for a variety of
reasons. The problem is that the government cannot locate all those individuals to
which the money is owed. Over a period of time, and it varies in each state, any
unpaid monies reverts back into the government treasury as revenue from unclaimed
property. So you can see that government does not necessarily try to hard to locate
those to whom they owe monies to. This presents you, the entrepreneur (Locator),
with an opportunity to find those tax payers. The government is required, by
accounting reporting standards, to maintain a detailed listing for all unclaimed
property in it's possession.
The government is also required to make such
detailed listings available to us, the general public. All you need to get started
is to find the listings. For that I have compiled
the links into the areas of government where you will find such listings. Unfortunately
at this time not all the state governments have links though. Once you have obtained
the listings you can then utilize the search engines and directories links located
at this site to search for those tax payers. As a Locator you will be working independently
in trying to find the tax payer who owns this unclaimed property. As a Locator you
make you own hours. The Locator usually earns a negotiated fee. You could work on
a flat fee or a percentage of the value of the unclaimed property. All fees are negotiated
between you the Locator and the tax payer of the unclaimed property. It is difficult,
yet exciting, trying to predict how much you can earn. On the percentage basis, the
higher the value of the unclaimed property the larger you fee will be. That is what
makes it exciting. Like I said in the beginning this is an opportunity that requires
LITTLE or No CAPITAL INVESTMENT to get started. All you need to get
started is the willingness to do some hard nose detective work. If you can do this
then you will be able to write your own success story as a Locator. 
Another
income producing opportunity also involves dealing with the government. The opportunity
here is to either sell your goods and services to the government or become a broker/reseller
for the goods and services that the government purchases everyday. To become a broker/reseller
does not require much capital to get started. This is a business that you can operate
out of your home. This is a business that requires you to read what goods and services
the government is purchasing, locating those goods and services needed, and then
reselling them to the government. When I was a broker/reseller, before the age of
the Internet, I was limited by the availability of information to me. Now this information
is readily available through the Internet. I have compiled the links to all of the
Purchasing Departments for the
Federal and State governments. Each government has a different way in which they
purchase goods and services. Naturally, in order for you to be successful you will
have to know their rules. Since this is a business with relatively no overhead, telephone
expense, if operated from your home, you will not need to add much to you costs in
order to make a nice profit for basically making telephone calls.
When you
are a broker/reseller you should never have to handle the product. The products should
be shipped directly to where the government specifies. Basically all you need is
the ability to read, make telephone calls and fill out and file forms. When I did
this a while back I averaged about seven phone calls per transaction. I would often
make in excess of $1,000 per transaction, depending upon the value of what was being
purchased. The average length of time I spent on each transaction was about two hours
in total. From start to finish. In the course of the day I would work on four different
transaction only because I could not get more information. I will tell you that my
success rate was about 20%. You are thinking that is not so great. True if I was
a baseball player I would be in the minor leagues. Since I was averaging 20 transactions
and with my success of 20% I was completing 4 deals a week. Earning a $1,000 per
transaction I was earning $4,000 a week being a broker/reseller. Per year this translates
to earnings in excess of $200,000! If you were earning this amount per year you would
be in the top 5% of wage earners. Would you consider that to be the minor leagues?
For

presented on this page are those in which I was successful at. My success does not
necessarily mean that you will be successful also. My success was and is dependent
upon my due diligence and work ethic. Who knows maybe if you decide to try any of
