1/3 cup Madeira, or port wine
1 tablespoon
Madeira, or port wine
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Combine broth and 1/3
cup of wine in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium high heat and reduce rapidly
to 1 cup.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with remaining tablespoon of wine.
Stir
mixture into sauce. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
