Hearty Fish Chowder

Freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup sherry
1 pound fish fillets, chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup water
2 onions, diced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup chopped green bell peppers
3 tablespoons acceptable margarine
1/2 cup flour
4 cups skim milk

Cook potatoes in water until tender. Sauté onions, mushrooms and green pepper in margarine until onions are translucent. Add flour to vegetables. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Add fish, seasoning, and cook until fish is tender (about 10 minutes). Add cooked potatoes and sherry. Heat and serve.
