8 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 pounds zucchini, sliced
1/2 inch thick
1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut in 1 inch pieces
15 ounces
navy beans
8 ounces elbow macaroni
Bring the 8 cups of water to a boil.
Add all ingredients except macaroni. Simmer 10 minutes.
Add macaroni, return
to a boil, then simmer for another 12 minutes.
Serve hot with grated Parmesan
cheese.
