1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2
cup basil leaves, finely chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 tomatoes, peeled
and coarsely chopped
Crush garlic and salt together with the flat of a knife
or mortar and pestle until it combines in a thick paste.
In a bowl, combine with
all other ingredients and mash to a thick puree.
Serve VERY COLD spooned into
hot soup.
