10 ounces peas, cooked
5 ounces water chestnuts, drained
2 green
onions, diced
1 cup finely shredded lettuce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1
teaspoon flour
3 tablespoons chicken broth, or water
freshly ground black
pepper
In a saucepan, cook green onions and lettuce in oil over low heat
for 5 minutes.
Combine flour with water or broth. Add to lettuce mixture and stir
until thickened. Put in the cooked peas, sliced water chestnuts and seasoning. Heat
through and serve.
