1/4 cup diced onions
1 green bell pepper, chopped
freshly ground
black pepper
1/2 cup water
20 ounces asparagus
2 teaspoons pimiento strips,
diced
1/2 teaspoon crumbled tarragon
2 teaspoons finely chopped parsley
Place onion, bell pepper, black pepper and water in a skillet. Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add asparagus and steam for 5 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
Garnish with remaining ingredients.
